A Baroque palace not to be missed
Built for Peter the Great in 1718, Kadriorg Palace is now home to the Art Museum of Estonia. Here, you’ll find 16th to 20th century paintings in addition to sculptures and other forms of art, especially Western and Russian art. The main hall has painted ceilings that you don’t want to miss. This Baroque palace, designed by the Italian architect Niccolo Michetti, is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It’s sure to be a highlight of your Tallinn sightseeing itinerary.
