An architectural marvel in St. Petersburg
When it comes to architectural design, Rossi Street in St. Petersburg is worth a visit. It’s known as the most proportional street in the city, with its buildings in perfect symmetry. The height of the two identical buildings that make up the street is equal to the width of the street. It’s named for Carlo Rossi, one of the great architects in St. Petersburg history, who designed the magnificent street in the late 1820’s and early 1830’s.
