As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson - The Americas, Steve Mogck serves as brand and operational leader for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and Park Inn hotels in the Americas.

In this role, Mogck is responsible for overseeing managed hotels, franchise field support, sales, marketing, guest satisfaction, brand standards and product and service quality. Most recently, Mogck served as executive vice president of Franchise Operations for Carlson Hotels Worldwide's Select Service hotels.

Prior to that, Mogck was senior vice president of Legal for Carlson Hotels Worldwide where he was responsible for overseeing domestic and international legal issues related to Carlson's hotel brands. Previous positions within Carlson include associate general counsel for parent company Carlson Companies; and director of Contract Administration for Carlson Hotels.

Prior to joining Carlson, Mogck was an attorney with Gray Plant Mooty and the former Popham, Haik, Schnobrich & Kaufman law firms in Minneapolis. Mogck received his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law in Iowa City, Iowa. He also earned his master of business administration degree with distinction from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois; and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
