Hotel in Veliky Novgorod between two legendary cities
Guests at this hotel in Veliky Novgorod enjoy a location between Moscow and St. Petersburg; the city is a popular holiday escape for residents of both cities. Overlooking the banks of the scenic Volkhov River, the hotel property stretches over verdant meadows and flowerbeds, creating a lovely natural haven. The hotel's proximity to the Kremlin, the city's historic centre and a 24-hour mini market offers guests pleasures both cultural and convenient.

A vibrant city with ancient roots
Veliky Novgorod, Russian for "The Great New City" or "The Big New City," is recognised as a major tourism destination both domestically and internationally. Novgorod boasts a number of stunning medieval monuments, the most recognisable being the wonderfully preserved St. Sophia Cathedral, built between 1045 and 1050. The cathedral is considered the first to represent original features of Russian architecture. The Kremlin also boasts the oldest palace in Russia (1433), the oldest Russian bell tower (mid-1400s) and the oldest Russian clock tower (1673).

Beyond being a regional tourism hub, Veliky Novgorod also attracts corporate visitors. It is regarded as a centre of education (home of Yaroslav the Wise University), an administrative centre (for the Novgorod Region) and a base for the chemical industry.

A free hotel shuttle bus is provided on a daily basis for guests coming via train 41 from Moscow or the Lastochka train from St. Petersburg.
