Taking responsibility for the environment and local community has been an important part of the commitment of Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group to sustainable development for many years. In 2001, this commitment was fortified and placed within the scope of a program called Responsible Business (RB).
Carlson Rezidor hotels practice Responsible Business in the following three areas:
Think Planet is Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group's ambitious energy project aimed at reducing energy consumption by 25% in five years.
The hotel plans to achieve this target by replacing light bulbs for energy saving LED technology and encouraging staff and guests to participate in turning off the lights and equipment when not in use.
Park Inn by Radisson Nevsky has been Green Key eco-labeled since September 2010. Green Key is the largest worldwide eco-label for hotels. It is an external company that certifies hotels through a list of criteria including actions in energy and water savings, waste management, environmental management and guest involvement.
