Stockholm Accommodation is a Responsible Business
Taking responsibility for the environment and local community has been an important part of the broader commitment of the Rezidor Hotel Group to sustainable development for many years. In 2001, this commitment was fortified and placed within the scope of a programme called Responsible Business (RB). Each hotel has a unique RB Action Plan covering areas such as community outreach, cultural heritage, employee and children's rights, health and safety, as well as environmental improvements. The hotels are engaged with both local charity groups and the corporate international charity organisation recognised by the Rezidor Hotel Group, the World Childhood Foundation. The mission of Childhood is to defend the rights of the child and to promote better living conditions for vulnerable and exploited children at risk all over the world. Employees

• All employees continuously receive proper training in heart and lung training as well as First Aid.
• For the security of the hotel's guests and employees, Park Inn Solna is a part of Safe Hotels.

Environment

• The hotel actively works to conserve energy and water by investing in products and services that are environmentally friendly.
• Park Inn Solna purchases specific organic products from local farms to offer guests at breakfast.
• Refillable soap dispensers are used in all guest rooms and public areas, and the hotel participates in the Rezidor towel and linen change programme.
• The hotel prioritises suppliers that are environmentally conscious. For example, the external laundry company utilised by the hotel is one of the few in the area to have environmental certification.
• Park Inn Solna's goal for the year is to replace all company cars with environmentally friendly options.

Community
Responsible business is not only about the environment. This Stockholm accommodation is committed to the local community and schools and shows this support through many different types of activities throughout the year.

• Park Inn Solna cooperates with Solna Stad to welcome the long-term unemployed and foreign students learning Swedish into the workplace.
• Among the charities sponsored by the hotel are Non Smoking Generation and Childhood.
• Since 1999, the hotel has sponsored two children from developing countries in Plan.
