I have been using the Park Inn for the last 3 years every month. The experience when the hotel was new was amazing. That has regressed over this time to a very poor level. Every month on check inn the policy changes, one day you need a credit card for authorisation, one day you need a licence to check in, another day you need the travel agent voucher. It gets a bit annoying when you don't have consistent standards. The bed and pillow quality is bad, realised the other day that you don't even use duvets. That's pathetic. The amenities vary from month to month, bottled water sometimes, no fridge etc. The bathrooms are worse, scum in the shower. Shower heads clogged so you have to keep moving to find the spray to wash down. I have had broken light fittings, no soaps, no remote control on some of my visits. I even had a housekeeper walk into my room while I was getting out of the shower. Breakfast used to be good, but the offering is less and less. No more cheese board, no more hash browns - basic breakfast items. You don't have teapots for goodness sake - some of us like more tea than one cup.
