Responsible Business – Let’s take responsibility

Taking responsibility for the environment and local community has been an important part of the broader commitment of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group to sustainable development for many years. In 2001, this commitment was fortified and placed within the scope of a programme called Responsible Business (RB).

Rezidor hotels practice Responsible Business in the following three areas:

• Think planet: minimising environmental footprint
• Think people: taking care of the health and safety of guests and employees
• Think together: respecting social and ethical issues in the company and community 

Think Planet is Rezidor’s ambitious energy project aimed at reducing energy consumption by 25% in five years.

The hotel plans to achieve this target by replacing light bulbs for energy saving LED technology and encouraging staff and guests to participate in turning off the lights and equipment when not using them.

The Park Inn by Radisson Donetsk has been Green Key eco-labelled since 2013. Green Key is the largest worldwide eco-label for hotels. It is an external recognition of this hotel’s environmental actions in energy and water savings, waste management, environmental management and guest involvement.
