First the bad: This place has seen better days! I've stayed here numerous times over the years and since the first time, it appears this place has turned into a halfway house for transients, with lots of unsavory characters roaming around all over the place; makes you feel scared to leave your room! The carpets are absolutely disgustingly filthy! The bathroom faucets drip. The bedrooms no longer have a tv. The tv channel lineup is all screwed up, with numerous channels repeated. Breakfast is ready-made and very substandard. The good: Gardens and pool area are beautiful. Staff is very attentive and though they try to accommodate guests, it appears the owners are running this place into the ground with their penny pinching! For crying out loud, at least clean the carpets!

I've stayed at the hotel a handful of times since 2005 when it was an Embassy Suites, as well as a Radisson. However, this latest iteration of the hotel as a Park Inn convinced me to never stay there again. My wife and I were in town for Thanksgiving and stayed a few hours at this hotel before we decided to cut our losses and move to a hotel down the street. The room was filthy, starting from the floors, as well as the bathroom in total, and most importantly the bed. The sheets smelled and looked like they hadn't been clean since the last guest. The hotel room's carpet had many visible stains, which is quite difficult given that hotels use industrial carpet which is designed to reduce the visibility of stains. The bathroom was filthy as well. Black hair dusted the ground and was stuck to the hair dryer. The sink was not wiped clean and the tub had black mold growing in the corners. The last straw was the bed. While it was made, the sheets were very smelly and felt as though they hadn't been washed for a considerable amount of time. We left with no complaint, we booked the room on Expedia and knew we had no chance of getting a refund. We spent the Holiday weekend in a great hotel down the street that was priced less per night than the Park Inn. When I went to check out on Sunday. They gave me no receipt, not even for the card they took on file for incidentals. After requesting the receipt several times, I gave up and decided whatever bad comes from this experience, I will chalk up to experience. Lesson learned, I will not stay at this hotel again. And will make sure that any friends or family that visit the West Covina area, won't either.

This hotel on the outside the terrible total neglect in maintenance in every aspect of the place, no pool or spa operational with no explanation of why or when it would be working. The elevators were pathetic the Breakfast was cold the people at the Desk didn't have time to talk to you as they were either on the phone or having a good time with each other behind the counter,.

We apologize for the disappointing service you received from our staff. Our team works hard to make sure our guests are comfortable and receive our best “Yes I Can!” service. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention, and hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future.
