Launched in September 2015, the Park Inn by Radisson hotels are Adding Color to Lives by working with local youth at risk. You will find many Park Inn by Radisson hotels located in city-centre top locations. A lot of these locations have underprivileged youth with a series of issues.
The connection with our colorful Park Inn brand and ‘Adding color to lives’ is easily made. Under the programme, Park Inn by Radisson hotels will build a long term relationship with local youth at risk groups, focus on developing work and personal skills and on organizing joint community projects.
To launch the initiative, Park Inn hotels organize workshops for local Youth At Risk together with street artists. In five flagship locations (Malmö, London, Brussels, Cologne and Cape Town), Park Inn has enlisted the help of Joel Bergner (joelartista.com), a famous mural artist on a social mission.
As part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotels’ family of brands, Park Inn by Radisson® has a strong track record of taking its people, communities and the environment into account in all business decisions.
We believe that by managing our business in a responsible manner we build trust, build relationships, and achieve great hospitality! And when we operate in a way that is respectful of human rights, socially equitable and environmentally sustainable, we can better meet our social and economic responsibilities.
The award-winning Responsible Business programme has worked on three key focus areas. First, for a focus on diversity, inclusion; and health & safety of guests and employees. Second, engaging with our local communities and showing leadership in business ethics. Third, reducing our hotels’ environmental footprint.
Eco-labels are your assurance you are staying in a green hotel. An eco-label like Green Key provides an independent third-party audit of each hotel’s practices and actions to protect the environment. To date, a total of 70 Park Inn by Radisson hotels across EMEA are eco-labelled.
Meetings Minus Carbon
Helping the planet has never been so easy. Did you know that Club CarlsonSM was the first hotel loyalty program to establish a global meetings and events carbon offsetting initiative: Meetings Minus Carbon.
Whenever you hold a meeting or event in one of our 1,000 participating Carlson Rezidor hotels – including Park Inn by Radisson- Club Carlson will automatically purchase carbon credits to offset the estimated carbon footprint, at no cost to you.
Thanks to the meetings and events booked by Club Carlson for Planners members so far, we have already offset over 27,000 tons of CO2 and planted the same number of trees!
By working together we are helping to combat climate change and sustain our environment for future generations.
